That's the vision behind Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), celebrated on May 15th, 2025. The idea for GAAD was born in 2011, when web developers Joe Devon and Jennison Asuncion realized that there was a huge gap in awareness about the importance of digital accessibility. They wanted to create a day that would bring together people from different backgrounds and industries to raise awareness about digital accessibility and inclusion.
