On August 22nd, 2025, kids and adults alike will be celebrating this magical holiday that brings joy and excitement to so many little ones. But where did this beloved tradition come from? Well, the origins of the Tooth Fairy can be traced back to ancient cultures, where children's teeth were believed to have magical powers. In Europe, children's teeth were buried or burned to prevent witches from using them for evil spells. In other cultures, like in Mexico and Latin America, the lost tooth was considered a good omen, and children would receive gifts and treats in celebration.
