Every year on this day, bee enthusiasts and nature lovers around the globe come together to celebrate World Bee Day ! But where did it all start? The origins of World Bee Day can be traced back to the birthdate of Anton Janša, a Slovenian apiculturist who was renowned for his innovative approaches to beekeeping. Born in 1734, Janša is often referred to as the "father of modern apiculture" - and it's easy to see why.
