National Camera Day is just around the corner, on June 29th, 2025 , and I'm super stoked to share all the excitement with you! So, let's start with a little history lesson. Did you know that the first camera was invented way back in 1816 by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce? Yep, it's been a whooping 209 years since the first permanent photograph was taken! Fast forward to the 19th century, and cameras became more accessible to the masses. And now, with the rise of smartphones, everyone's a photographer! The first National Camera Day was celebrated on June 29th, 2016 , when a group of photography enthusiasts got together to commemorate the art of capturing life's precious moments.
