The first Professional Engineers Day was observed in 2018, when the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) launched a campaign to raise awareness about the importance of licensed professional engineers (PEs). And what better day to do so than on August 6th, the anniversary of the first professional engineering license issued in the United States?
