Free Comic Book Day - May 3rd, 2025

Oh man, it's almost here... my favorite holiday of the year - Free Comic Book Day! Mark your calendars for May 3rd, 2025, folks! It's a celebration like no other, and trust me, you won't want to miss it!

So, where did this amazing tradition come from? Well, it all started back in 2002 when a group of comic book enthusiasts in California decided to create a special day to promote their beloved medium. They wanted to the community, and what better way to do that than by giving out free comic books?! Genius, right?!

Fast forward to today, and Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) has become a global phenomenon! It's celebrated on the first Saturday of May every year, and comic book stores, libraries, and bookstores all over the world join in on the fun. The event has grown so popular that it's now recognized as one of the most important dates in the comic book industry.

So, what can you expect on May 3rd, FREE COMIC BOOKS, of course! That's the best part! Participating stores will be giving away a selection of specially produced FCBD comics, featuring some of the biggest titles and characters in the industry. Think Marvel, DC Comics, Dark Horse, and Image Comics, among many others. The best part? These comics are only available on FCBD, so you won't find them anywhere else!
