D-Day - June 6th, 2025

June 6th, 2025 is just around the corner, and I know I'm not the only one getting excited about this year's D-Day celebrations! This momentous occasion marks a turning point in World War II, and it's a day we should all remember and honor.

On June 6th, Allied forces, led by General Dwight D. Eisenhower, launched the largest seaborne invasion in history, code-named Operation Neptune. The mission was to free German-occupied France from the clutches of the Nazi regime, and it was a make-or-break moment for the Allies.

The stakes were high, and the bravery of those who took part in this operation is awe-inspiring. Over 156,000 troops, including Americans, British, Canadians, and French, set foot on five Normandy beaches – Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword.
